Job Responsibilities
As a Smart Customer Service Representative you will ensure that the parents of our school clients get the best possible experience with Smart Tuition. Some of the ways you will accomplish this:
Handle 50-75 incoming calls in a fast-paced call center environment.
Explain tuition and other billing details to the parents of school children and be able to answer their questions clearly and completely.
Utilize resource material and keep abreast of changes to different school program information in order to provide accurate and timely information to callers.
Handle payments submissions and refund requests accurately and in accordance with prescribed procedures.
Provide online website information and support to users who are often unfamiliar or uncomfortable with technology.
Document all discussions with callers completely and concisely.

Available shifts:
3:30PM -12:00AM Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday
11:00PM- 7:30AM Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday ( 4 day on/3 day off option available)

1+ years of proven customer service experience.
Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
Capable of working well in a team environment.
Experienced at problem solving including investigation and follow-up.
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Willing to work weekends and/or evenings
A positive personality
Here are a few "Nice to Haves"
Bilingual (Spanish)
Bachelor's degree
Proficient in Word and Excel

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
