We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Billing Clerk.
As a Billing Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes for our organization.
This is a part-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry and clerical tasks related to billing processes - Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues and answer inquiries - Utilize financial software systems PCC -Ensures all primary and secondary billing is followed up in a timely manner - Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
Experience:
- Experience in billing for nursing home and AL preferred - Medicare, Medicaid and private insurances - Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail - Knowledge of medical billing codes (ICD-10) and medical collection practices is beneficial - Proficiency in using financial software systems such as PCC for billing purposes - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Job Type:
