The Room Attendant cleans guest rooms in an allotted time period determined by management, using the proper procedures, and chemicals provided by management.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Willingness to accept the most effective role Cleans guest rooms and guest areas; including but not limited to - making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning windows and mirrors, and replacing supplies Utilizes chemicals according to directions, and familiarizes self with all MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) Follows procedures concerning protection against blood borne pathogens Practices safety procedures; including bending, lifting, and safe use of equipment Reports hazardous conditions in work area or equipment to supervisor Reports maintenance issues Documents and secures lost and found items Communicates with guest in a professional, friendly manner Keeps supplies ready by re-stocking housekeeping cart at end of shift Other duties as specified by Management on an as need basis
Qualifications:
Other duties as specified by the Housekeeping Supervisor on an as need basis Familiar with Housekeeping; including sanitation, laundry operation, and guest service Lift up to thirty (30) pounds, unassisted Bending, stretching, standing, walking for duration of shift Exposure to chemicals.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
