Accounting Manager ( Hybrid, Construction Exp a MUST)

Our client, a top construction company is adding an Accounting Manager to their team
The role is a Hybrid role based out of the WoodBridge NJ area
As an Accounting Manager, you will serve as a financial expert for our client
This involves handling project reviews, contracts, cost accounting, and overseeing a small staff
Additionally, you will be responsible for the month-end close, bank reconcilliations and more
Accounting Manager
Responsibilities:
  • Managing accounting and financial reporting
  • Establishing and coordinating all accounting procedures for the business unit
  • Investigating significant trends/variances in financial data
  • AIA Billing
  • Contract reviews
  • Handling AP, AR, Payroll, Tax functions as well as Cost and Inventory Accounting
  • Providing daily and/or weekly analysis, and reporting on operational performance as it relates to the business activities including monitoring margins, variances, and giving feedback
  • Assisting in the formulation of the budget and preparing the monthly budget variance analyses

Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Construction Accounting Experience, Accounting Manager experience a MUST
- Experience overseeing billings, projects, project contracts
