Trade Settlements - Custody Associate

The Custody Department at Bessemer Trust is seeking a Custody Associate for the Settlements Team.
The ideal applicant has experience in financial services, custody operations and US and Non-US settlements and a desire to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
Experience with the following security processes:
o Product knowledge of equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, mutual funds, options, futures, and swaps o DTC and FED settlements o Non-US Settlements across various global markets Additional
Responsibilities:
o Troubleshoot, diagnose, and address issues by working with custodians, brokers and counterparties to resolve o Research and Resolve Settlements breaks / issues o Ability to work with global custodians o Able to organize and compile statistics associated with trade settlement volumes and metrics o Partner with team members on strategic initiatives within the Settlements team o Cross train on a variety of functions within the Settlements team including margin calculation, proxy and class actions o Comply with all regulatory requirements o Expected to be familiar with Bessemer written policies & procedures manual which are provided to new hires Familiar with the following function:
o Corporate Actions/Income Processing o Reconciliations o Trust Accounting o Class Actions and Proxy o Margin
Qualifications:
o 1-3 years of experience in financial services, ideally with US and Global Settlements o Bachelor's degree, with a focus in business, finance and economics preferred o Experience working on FIS Global Plus system is a plus o Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
