Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out.
You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions.
A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role.
Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store's profitability.
Responsibilities -Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner by making eye contact, smiling and saying hello throughout the Store as well as saying thank you with every register transaction -Provide a positive shopping experience for customers -Be aware of subtle customer cues and respond appropriately -Expand knowledge of products so that customer questions can be properly addressed -Assist in receiving and processing product shipments in a timely manner -Prepare and display new merchandise -Promote brand loyalty programs and other incentives -Maintain a standard of cleanliness in the store by following set guidelines -Work with a team to create and maintain a pleasant environment for shoppers and staff - Ability to use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders and other assigned supplies.
-Processes payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, and store or other credit and debit cards.
-Alerts management of potential security issues.
-The Associate may be requested to perform additional tasks in specific situations, if performance of these tasks will help achieve our Customer service and operational goals -Performs cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping counters and mirrors, replenishing restroom supplies, and disinfecting high-touch areas including the front-end, sales floor and restrooms to help maintain merchandise, customer and Team areas
Qualifications:
-Excellent interpersonal skills, including having an approachable and friendly manner -Good time and task management skills, including prioritizing and changing tasks easily -Availability to work flexible schedule - Represents and supports the Company brand at all times.
-Attention to detail -Experience in retail -Capacity to build customer relationships -Ability to use all Store equipment, including PDTs, registers and PC as required.
-Physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting, climbing, carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis -Ability to follow direction or take initiative as the situation requires -Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing or moving about -Ability to occasionally push, pull and lift more than 25 pounds -Willingness to accept and apply constructive criticism -Have good eye for fashion and dress displays.
