This full-time position, based in our headquarters, has global program management responsibility for mission-critical enterprise physical security systems.
After learning and then mastering the systems - which won't be hard since you are familiar with database-driven software - you will become the authority on them for users across the enterprise.
You will then lead cross-functional teams on certain projects of high importance to the company's mission.
At that point, your intrapersonal skills will make the difference:
leading the program to train the user community on various system standards; interpreting their knowledge levels and assisting as needed; listening to their business requirements when their needs change, writing concisely and sensitively for each reader, being firm when you need to, and above all building healthy relationships.
You must have substantial experience with enterprise-grade software, since our systems are integrated with other enterprise apps and are periodically upgraded.
You will also perform a meaningful amount of report generation, deduping, tuning of user and group permissions, development of global SOPs, and troubleshooting.
We want someone who can do all that, and is energized by applying and sharing your subject matter expertise.
Our department has a highly collaborative work environment, and we are accordingly looking for a strong team player with demonstrated leadership qualities.
This opportunity is a contractor position with an indefinite term, hybrid work arrangements, standard business hours except on rare occasions, up to 25% travel, and exceptional benefits.
Qualifications Five years' professional experience, preferably at a large firm.
Experience with enterprise software.
Prior hands-on responsibility for physical security systems (not cyber) is a plus.
Very comfortable using databases and Boolean logic.
Proven ability to work with colleagues at a variety of seniority levels.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Leadership skills to communicate action plans and ensure completion across business lines and between internal organizations.
Time management skills.
Prioritization and task organization skills.
Self-motivated and accurate A bachelor's degree or better in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
This position requires authorization to work in the US.
